The private hotspring was a total highlight after long hikes, and I adored the traditional meals—it was like a culinary adventure! Just wish the room decor felt fresher.

The public onsen provided a serene and calming atmosphere.
I was frustrated with the size and cleanliness of the public hot spring. it felt quite cramped and needed serious improvements. Communication was also a barrier as there was no texting option for foreign tourists, making it hard to get assistance. To top it off, the futons were painfully thin, leading to a sleepless night.

A private onsen experience was a highlight, offering breathtaking forest views. The kaiseki dinner featured high-quality dishes with unique ingredients, each meal memorable. However, the walk to the onsen can be slippery and requires navigating multiple steps, which may pose challenges for some. The maintenance of the facilities leaves much to be desired, indicating an urgent need for upgrades.

Couldn’t believe how awesome the private onsen was! Wakin' up to soak while takin' in that mountain view? Pure magic! The food was ridiculously good, especially that pork in milk broth. Totally unforgettable. Just wish the rooms were a bit fresher looking. Still, wicked good experience overall!

Just an appropriate option for a transient stop in Hakone with real value for money. The private onsen experience was relaxing, surrounded by nature while soaking. Bring your own snacks as there's no convenience store nearby.

The dining experience was a highlight, with food that felt like it belonged in a 5-star restaurant. Our private onsen was an absolute treat, allowing us to unwind while taking in the serene surroundings. Staff were genuinely helpful, creating a cozy atmosphere not often found in hotels.
However, the ryokan had too many steps to tackle, which could be a hassle for anyone with mobility challenges. While the food was beautifully presented and tasty, the room felt overpriced compared to expectations. The view? Let’s just say it wasn’t winning any awards.

i almost thought about giving this place a good review, but the public hot spring was utterly tiny and filthy. also, after requesting a room upgrade due to my special needs, i was sadly told no, as if i didn't matter. the food was merely average, which is shocking based on the cost.
